:roll: OK, I have this big room of radio/computer equipment. Been hamming for over 25 years. I just decided to try my luck and copy some international wire service bulletins. There is lots of TTY on the shortwave bands. So where did all the news from foreign countries go? I also used to copy Embassy traffic. Granted it was not anything secret. Well, it may have been, just encrpted. Like asking for different names of books from stateside and the like. But at least I could copy using RTTY. Is the only copyable RTTY on the Ham bands now?

If so, what a shame. I used to read the news from other countries before you saw it on the 5 o'clock news.

Any body out there know of any freqs to search? I just won a Kenwood All-band R-1000 on Ebay and hope it was all for naught.

Willing to correspond via email with any other enthusiest.
