Guy Using KC5YJE Callsign - Selling Omni VII

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

Guy Using KC5YJE Callsign - Selling Omni VII

A guy using James Seale's callsign KC5YJE is currently trying to sell an Omni VII ad number 1110224. The ad description came from an Ad by N9VX which appeared in QRZ.com on 3-17-2013. The serial number that the scam artist provided was from an Ad by K9XR from a couple of years ago. The photos came from an ad by K4SHP which appeared in EHAM on 4-16-2013. The guy's cellphone number he uses is from Alabama and is 256-488-5452, he has a heavy African accent and he will ask to be paid in a bank transfer. I have called James Searles in Delta Alabama on his home phone and left a recording regarding the situation.
