AD6HV Terry Larson, Possable Scammer?

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

AD6HV Terry Larson, Possable Scammer?

I have a WTB add online and someone using the call and name of AD6HV - Terry Larson answered. I seen that over on QRZ that there is a Beware warning from this call. He seemed to be using an old stock photo of the item I was looking for. Anyway he wanted to send money via PayPal to a different address, both are here:

All his emails were from ad6hv@hotmail.com

But send money to: lei9rui@hotmail.com

After all contact was broken off with this person I went on checking on the internet I was unable to find an email for Terry W Larson, even though his call AD6HV is there and his address is in Bellflower, CA.

P.S. when questioned about the different email address he was rather perturbed, but I just did not feel comfortable. Glad I checked further.
