Possible Scammer using KB7OUE

Possible Scammer using KB7OUE

Post by n0sa »

I am pretty sure I was just scammed by persons posing as Marsha and William Jarman
KB7OUE and N7MDP
I had placed a WTB add and foolishly paid too soon with Zelle (my bad)
I do not know if it is the above persons or someone posing as them.
Email used was kb7oue@gmail.com.
I have been buying and selling ham gear for many years and have never been scammed.
I let my guard down and probably have lost some money but lesson learned.

It looks like I was scammed to by Marsha / kb7oue. I replied to an email regarding a wanted ad I placed a while ago.

I looked up kb7oue in the FCC database and the name matched. The email used was marshanfred@gmail.com.

Purchase was 03/12 via Zelle.

Here's 'Martha's' latest response. My purchase was Sunday. Apparently Martha was sick, had a bathroom incident, and is was hospitalized. Yet 'Martha' did disclose that when we exchanged emails Sunday.

Sorry for my late replies, I had a little bathroom accident, I have been in the hospital, once I feel much better I’ll ship, please bear with me.

I believe Martha Jarman (Kb7oue) and her husband William (n7mdp) have a scam operation going.
I could be wrong, if anyone knows these people let them know.
They seem to answer WTB ads on QTH.
I did not perform due diligence and I got scammed.
Their address is
6406 E Aspen Ave
Mesa AZ 85206
William is listed online as having a handful of aliases as well as many phone numbers and email addresses.
I have no idea of what to do next, I used Zelle and filed a fraud report.
If I lived in Mesa, I would be tempted to drop by for a visit.

From the Maricopa County Assessor, the address listed in the FCC database is indeed owned by JARMAN WILLIAM D/MARSHA
