Where to take your Yaesu FT-757 GX II for repair??

I was told you folks might be able to help. I am a new general and was given a Yaesu FT-757 GX II that belonged to a ham operator that passed away recently. I also got the matching antenna tuner. My ham buddy looked it over and could smell faint electrical burn smell and said it probably does not work. It was missing the 12V power chord too so he couldn't test it, but funny enough it had a 120V chord attached to it. The guy who owned it was no dummy, had a huge ham shack, ex Air Force too. Looking for someone hopefully local to SF Bay area who repairs these. I got it for free so may be cheaper to put some money into it if possible, train with it as my first HF rig. Any help would be appreciated. I know of one person in Colorado who repairs them. Thank you. 73
