PCR 100 CONTROL SOFTWARE

The XYL wanted to learn how to use a computer. So, I cleaned-out my old CF 48 Toughbook and removed and removed, among other nonessentials (for her), ICOM's control software for the PCR 100.
This time the computer NEVER made it off my desk and on to hers.
ICOM no longer offers control software exclusively for the PCR 100. I've tried the PCR 1000 software which is somewhat, but not fully compatible, with the PCR 100.
QUESTION: Can someone recommend free, basic control software for the PCR 100.
NOTES: The CF48 is about 15 years old and runs very early Windows98. The USB1 ports got screwed-up when I tried loading C#. I'll keep the CF48 until the hard drive gets so corrupted that the machine won't boot. It's questionable if the hard drive can be erased and Windows reloaded because the very early versions of Windows are no longer available.
