we in north carolina are hearing kenwood id getting out of ham radio in 2009.
has anyone heard the same story.

Yes I have heard the same rumour on the west coast.. Also ICOM and Kenwood have teamed up on the commercial side. Desperate maybe? I feel sorry for ICOM they only sell radios and nothing like Kenwood who is deversified.

Ham radio is a pimple on there butt since they have a huge product line.
