Scammer posing as ham

Post by RussKW6T »

Today, a scammer posing as Jussi-Pekka Sampola. This scammer was obvious, and I confirmed it by contacting OH6RX, the real Jussi-Pekka Sampola from Finland. He confirmed he has not been recently buying/selling on QTH.

Another suspected scammer identified as Lee A Mannchen who stated his callsign was WS4BS. All checks out but no email connected to his QRZ page. I offered to pay by US mail; this was declined preferring Zelle. I asked for a phone number--response: Okay. Nothing else heard.
