Picture Collectors?

Post by K9TB »

Can someone tell me what is up with all the request for pictures of an item, and then you never hear a word from them? I really don't mind this, now that I am on a wireless feed, but before it was a pain in the neck to send pictures from a dial up connection, and a poor one at that. I have developed a feeling now though that when someone ask for pictures, I just mark them off the list as a potential buyer, seems like 100% of the request never end up in a sale. Makes me wonder if there is a new part of the hobby, collecting pictures of equipment. Tom K9TB

I don't know but, if they really want it, they'll buy -- pictures or no pictures.

I sold a WJ 8888B2 on eBay for a four-figure price tag without any pictures. Of course, the buyer really wanted it AND knew what it was.
