Hi Folks,
I am looking for a hard to find Motorola key, #C2418. It looks like the normal 2553 and 2135 keys, same style key blank. Does anyone have a source or an extra key or two that I could beg or buy? Post responses here or my email mmallett@mc.net. Thanx es 73 de Marc N9KHI

CompX, which apparently acquired the assets of Chicago Lock Company which made this camlock/key for Motorola, has come up empty handed too. claiming a skip from C2416 to 2419. Any Moto techs out there, check your key rings! Even if I have to borrow/copy/return, that works! A search on Repeater Builder .com mentions the key and that is all the information I have.

A little more information has surfaced; this key fits the AT&T enhanced 911 dispatching equipment cabinet too. It is the very same blank as the 2135 and 2553 Moto keys.

Thanks to another service tech/ham that had a key, I am now getting keys made. There is a 10 piece minimum, so I will have this key available to any folks that will need it. I'll post on the for sale part of the forum when I have them in hand.
