Ten pounds of QSL cards from 1940s-50s

Just what it says -- this is the place for any discussions not related to Buying, Selling and Trading ham gear. The discussion must be related to Ham Radio.

Ten pounds of QSL cards from 1940s-50s

Post by jimjudylauer »

I found you through Google as I began wondering if there is any interest in the current ham operator world for old QSL cards my dad, Cliff--W6NEC--collected during the late 40's and 50's. I have about ten pounds of them that my older brother just mailed to me in an effort to clear out his storage.
My dad started as a "ham" in his teens in Phila. with a crystal set and moved on to build his own transmitter (for key conversations in his earliest years of the 40s) and finally graduated to SSB as I was growing up.
Any ideas for who or where such a QSL collection would be of interest?
Thanks,
Jim

I've seen qsl cards for sale on e bay.I think they were cards from well known people and from countries no longer around etc: So you just might go through the cards and see what you can see or just make up bundles and try e bay..
