Good tuner for a barefoot 100 watt HF rig, you can tune coax, long wire and balance feeders on any frequency, including the WARC bands. Just don't press your luck at the KW pep level though . . . .

I'd go $100-150 at most.

May I respectfully disagree. That tuner is built like a tank and I would be comfortable putting 1kw through it. Personally I put around 750 to 800 watts through mine and it matches everything I throw at it flat.

I paid $125 including shipping and it was in almost new condition.

Super Tuner

I have to agree with Mr Lazybones, I had a Super Tuner for years I used with an SB-220 running 1200watts or so PEP. Never an issue. Never arced or spit at me. Sometimes at full output on long transmissions the case would get a little warm, but nothing more....truly built like a tank. I think the specs rated it a 1KW but that was very conservative...

I paid 70 dollars for mine, but I got a really good deal, I have since seen them for 100-125, never below 100.

I bought a MFJ-989D to replace it, and other than the antenna switch and metering, the Super Tuner was a better box
