Vintage UHF Frequency/Wavemeters..."Marconi-Ekco"

Post by oldave »

I have 2 Vintage Frequency/Wavemeters that were part of my Father`s Radio & TV home repair shop... *1950`s - 1970`s*
Since his passing I have been cleaning out a some of his of Ham Radio type parts...*I have some Transmitting Tubes as well*...
The 1st. is in "A+" condition: US Army - Signal Corps...Philco Freq. Meter BC-906-D Serial #8840.

The 2nd. is in "C" condition: Marconi-Ekco UHF Wavemeter, Type W1158
Ref.# 10T/5, Serial #374
I have no idea about these types of Meters, although I do work (Re-Cap,Re-Tube, etc.) on old tube type radios and amplifiers as a hobby...
I would hate to just toss these out ,even if they are out-dated and not used any longer...If they are of any use and have some value, It would be very much appriciated *I can send photos if required*
Thankyou very much for any info you might be able to provide...
