Antenna Question

Antenna Question

Anyone ever tried a long wire antenna thru an external tuner and fed from a short piece (about 10 ft.) of coax? Real Estate here at a premium and my only experience with a long wire (20 plus years ago) was one of fighting RF in the shack. Everything I have read seems to go againt this design for loss reasons, but some loss is not a problem compared to fighting with RF again. Thanks for any advise.

not sure exactly what you have in mind, but either an end fed zep or a windom as a sloper should serve your purposes.
