multiple post need to stop

Post by KG0MN »

I can see where your system balks a bit and you hit the send button twice but I see today there are some dim bulbs that have three or four posts on a single page. I don't come here to read 4 posts on the same item from one person. KA9FOX needs a forum moderator to delete that trash.

Some boards if you multiple post it equals number of posts = days banned. People will wake up soon if put in place.

multiple posts

Post by N2PET »

I agree with the original poster. I've seen many times where there will be a post followed by the same post up to half a dozen times. Waste of bandwidth at the very least. I'm pretty sure that most times it's done by mistake. Just remember when you post, WAIT for a little bit if you don't see your post immediately. Happy Mothers Day to all the YL's! :D

KG0MN Thank you for your post:

Most of the time these duplicate ads are deleted. The two moderators of this site spend a minimum of 5 hours a day deleting violations. each person is sent a copy of the ad, rule section violated and a nice note asking the poster to please read the complete rule section before listing another ad. So an email to [help] at [qth] dot [com] with a heads up would be appreciated. Thanks to all of the traders, buyers and sellers that make this a great place for the amateurs to shop and most of all to Scott, KA9FOX, for all he does in providing this site.
Please read the rules and remember to play nice.

... then there's the folks that use this forum for whining about off-topic subjects. (FEEDBACK FORUM)
I'm pretty sure Scott doesn't need help moderating his website.
If multiple postings, whether it be user error or computer error, really bothers you that much... just click the little "X" at the top right of your web browser and the problem will go away.

73's, and remember; this is just a hobby.

Our rules are clear -- no duplicate ads. It doesn't matter if they are on different days.

Please remove your duplicate ads, if you still have any online.
