mcp-2 kenwood tm-v7a frequency download

Post by domenic »

Has anyone ever tried to use the frequency download program from the kenwood site to program the TM-V7A? I have a computer that runs XP and has 2-usb ports that are used as com ports. Every time that I try to write to the radio I receive a "Communications Error". I receive the window that shows the upload progression which never shows any upload then I get the "Communications Error". Does anyone have any ideas.?

Hello, Domenic

check to make sure your USB drivers are up to date and if there is an update available install it and reboot the machine and give it a try that sometimes works
