After a lengthy phone discussion about equipment he advertised, Colin distinctly agreed to give me 1st "right of refusal" on the sale and to continue the transaction via e-mail when he arrived home (he in town with his wife when I called him).
Hearing nothing from him later, I called back. He said, "well, someone called right after you did...<snip>... and I kinda promised it to him."
Didn't keep his word. Poooor business practice. Flakey. Never should have agreed to that arrangement if he was going to sell the eqpt out-from-under me. The right answer to the next caller was, "I'm working with a guy right now. I can take your number and call you later."
