FT-920 VFO-B display

FT-920 VFO-B display

The VFO-B display on my recently aquired ft920 vanishes but will resume when one turns the VFO knob, it again vanishes after three seconds.
also resumes when one depresses the TX or RX buttons on VFO-B .The VFO works correctly and remains active ie' only the readout vanishes
Does anyone have info on this fault?

I will take a wild guess and think that it is a feature of the radio to blank out VFO b so that the operator doesnt look at the wrong one during operation.

its likley a menu value you set...

a full reset would likly clear it but i would think simple perusal of the menus woould show it up.
