I have not received anything from Nick...My last communication with him was on the 13th stating he needed to get a padded envelope to ship.....He lives about 58 miles from me, so he could have shipped them via turtle,hi.

Has anyone tried to call him? I'd think he would have shipped them by now. Paid him on the 13th via PayPal.

Maybe he's ill??

I wonder if it would be appropriate to have the local PD do a health and welfare check?

Glad I paid with PayPal and insisted on paying the fees.

Add me to the list.
I added a few bucks to the kitty to cover the fees and did not pay via the "Gift" Option. I filed to get my money back yesterday.

I am selling a matched set of 4, never installed 2SC2879 transistors by toshiba. I would like to get $50.00 for the set, since I do not need them. That is a bargain! Look at the prices they are up to now. these are not the Chinese knockoff DEI, they are the real deal. Paypal only & shipping USPS incl to your QTH. Thanks, Nick

It is a shame it is getting so hard to discern who is and who isn't a scammer anymore...I have also put a claim in for my Money...If I get the $50 back fine, if not I will chalk this up to another bad thing that has happened in life..

I just checked my paypal dispute and they say they received tracking info from the seller but haven't confirmed it yet and asking if I wanted to continue my claim. I did get a blank paypal shipping confirmation shortly after payment. I did continue the claim.

PayPal Refunded my lost money today. PayPal 1/Scammer 0

I get nervous when folks start asking for PayPal "Gifts". It truly could be a "Gift". If it is something I really want, I'll pay the 3% for no other reason than to cover my butt.

I do the same thing Steve. I even gave him 53 bucks rather than the 50 requested to cover the paypal fee just cuz he seemed like a nice guy. I got a refund today too.
