It amazes me how many posts there from hams who've received damaged gear in a on-line deal and don't what's going on.
If your gear arrives damaged, DON'T RUN AND CALL YOUR SELLER FIRST; CALL THE CARRIER AND FIND OUT WHAT THEIR CLAIM PROCEDURES ARE!
Most hams selling on-line are not "pro" or "semi-pro" and don't know damage claim procedures for one reason: they haven't been involved in a damage claim.
