Scam using Hijacked Call AA1RI

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

Scammer using the name and call AA1RI, David Moore
mooredavid032@gmail.com

He/She will say that their paypal is business only, first indicator.


Also using this name and info to carry out the transfers/deposits.

You were smarter than me!! I was scammed out of several hundred dollars by the same scum bag. He was using ab8go when he got me! Same banking info. I finally talked with the real ab8go...He had no idea what was going on. It would be interesting to know how much $$$$ this dude has scammed hams out of in the last few months. First time I've been scammed....There is always a 'first'. Thought I was smarter than the crooks...But boy, was I wrong! I guess I have been very fortunate all these years. I have learned a good but costly lesson.
