For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

He was advertising a KX3 for sale. Accepted my offer. Would only use Bank Wire/Transfer and sent pictures taken from the internet. Gave him opportunity to discuss and verify his identity after a live phone call to me. Said he would call but did not and now it seems he has taken all ads down from the Classified forums.

This is the second scammer I have dealt with in a month.

I hope this helps someone else avoid being ripped off.
