For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

Reference Scamming

A more of QTH.com posted a scam alert for me. My name is Michael Gilreath and no I do now OT have my ticket yet. The qth owner was kind enough to allow me to join as I am looking for equipment, towers right now as I have a posted WTB 60+ foot tower. I reside in Western N.C. in a very small town named Mills River. If you require documentation that proves I am not a scammer please contact me and I will send you my personal information. Meanwhile Mr. Compton can continue threatening and intimidating me but Intrude to allow that to happen. Thank you. Michael Gilreath
