KW7COB Call Sign Being Used Fraudulently

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

KW7COB Call Sign Being Used Fraudulently

Someone is using my call sign KW7COB to scam people. I got a call from someone who had placed a wanted ad on QTH.com and was contacted by email. The email was KW7COB@gmail.com. I have never had this email address. The scammer sent pictures of the radio and then gave a Paypal address of Flores.c.anita@gmail.com. Again, I have no connection to any of this. If you place a wanted ad and are contacted by email, you may be scammed.
