Medical Quackery....
This is a very rare quack medicine therapy machine called a Short Wave Oscilloclast. this device was put out by the college of electronic medicine in San Francisco California. It was developed by Albert Abrams. These devices work continue to be used even after dr. Abrams death and determination of fakery. This device contains a treatment card for a patient dated September 5th 1950. This is part of a device set (other item not shown) and a true piece of medical history. The Oscilloclast was believed to treat cancer , syphilis , and a wide range of other conditions.
Go figure, out of California, land of the nuts...LOL
You can google the Oscilloclast and find lots of stuff about that junk...

Re: Another junkbox find.
It's funny, Chris. I did an onlline search myself before I posted the inquiry and I didn't find anything. It was there all the time …. hihi. My uncle was a collector of anything electronic and he found this years ago. He passed away in 1992 and I "inherited" all his radio equipment and collection of strange items. Thanks again.
