Be very carefull when dealing with William L.(Les) Boone Sr. 8630 Butte Rd, P.O.Box 593, Lucerne Valley, California, emails used are cadman@gmail.com and cadman@hotmail.com, telephone 760-475-4844. I purchased an Icom transceiver from him off QTH that he assured me was in very good, used condition. Upon receipt of the radio, it only transmitted 15-20 watts on all bands(should have been 100), microphone was defective, PBT knob was hanging loose and someone had tried to back off the retaining nut and got it cross-threaded, leaving it half way on the shaft. (You have to remove the front face to get to the retaining nut, by the way). I contacted Mr. Boone and suggested sending the radio to Scott Malcom and Mr. Boone agreed to pay half of the repair/shipping costs. After 2 months of phone calls to him and listening to his excuses involving incarcerated grandchildren, hospital stays and only getting paid on the first of the month, he still has not paid what he agreed to pay. He is real piece of work. He also stated he is active on 11 meters as "cadillac man". BEWARE !

Just curious if you were able to resolve things with Les, I am considering making a purchase from him but probably won't if he has not made good on prior transactions,

No, Les never did make good on the transaction I had with him. It cost me quite a bit in funds to get the radio fixed which he originally said he would pay half of the repairs. He is not to be trusted. Thank you, Randy - NØKO.
