I bought an Eico 720 CW transmitter from John. He packed it poorly and it was damaged by FedEx. Only 2 layers of crappy bubble wrap on the bottom
of the super thin re-used Amazon box. Drove the feet into the bottom of the transmitter. It was also sliding around inside of the box too, becuase of poor packing around the transmitter.
I asked him several times about it and he said he was going to file a claim with FedEx. My guess is he didn't get very far with them.
Never heard anything from him again.
Buyer beware.

I refunded the buyer for the damage (a dent) caused by the carrier and a tube he did not like. The unit is working.
