bootlegged call

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

bootlegged call

Everyone,

I was checking out reverse beacon and ft8 reporter since i was on today on 40,20 and 30 meters.

read a report about my call being on 160.

I dont do 160 unless its summertime where i can access my antenna for it. My son does the climbing. anyway. if they are scamming us here, they are bootlegging our calls on the air. might want to check signal reports on your signals on reverse beacon and ft8 reporter.

I have had cases like this and find out it was a typo. good luck getting it figured out. 73 Dennis
