Scammer Alert: KD0TOV

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

Someone pretending to be Mark Zappa, KD0TOV, attempted to scam me using the email address: markazappakd0tov@gmail.com.

His technique is to not reply through the qth.com system to avoid IP tracking. He takes your callsign and then tries callsign@arrl.net.

Be aware of this jerk.

If anyone knows the real Mark KD0TOV please let him know about this imposter. Mark does not have an email address listed on QRZ.com.

I too have been contacted by KD0TOV, but this person is a scammer. His email address: Mark A Zappa <markazappakd0tov@gmail.com>
