After acquiring an SPE Expert 1.3k for the first time, decided to get the proper cables before hooking it up, didn't want to take chance on damaging the amplifier or radio. Contacted Bob about his intriguing S-Box and necessary cables for the complete install. Bob was patient and helpful from the very beginning, explaining things as to why and where they go. Decided I liked his S-Box interface concept and when spending that much for an amplifier, what's a couple hundred more to make it a safe and fully functional addition to the radio. Ordered S-Box on Thursday, he shipped on Friday and I had it in my hands on Monday, mind you this is from CA to OH. Everything packed well and all cables labeled for 'plug n play' operation. Bob also took the time to customize and printout color schematics/directions for all three of my radios, should I decide to change the amp from one to another. Install was a breeze due to his detailed drawings and labeling of the cables. Upon first time firing it up, needed some further advice on the antenna menu. Called Bob and he stopped what he was doing an walked me through the menu settings for a successful install and first transmission. Can't speak highly enough of N6TV's help he gave me even after the sale. Dealing with Bob was like taking in a deep breath of fresh country air! He's truly one of the good guys and a real asset to the ham radio community.
