Another scammer: Someone using W8PMR. Emailed me directly from a suspicious outlook.com account, and W8PMR has no known email address on his QRZ profile. Beware.
Same person responded to my ad looking for a VHF linear. Got him on the phone. Reverse phone number lookup says it's a VOIP number, commonly used to conceal true identity. Area code is NC. W8PMR address is MI. Seller has a strong foreign accent, probably eastern European. Asked him to go outside and send me a picture of his house, to see if it matched the one on Google Maps. Still waiting for the picture. My bet is this is a scammer working from outside the US. Phone Number is 910 239 4339.
