For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

Jeff Kiss Scam Report

I was contacted by someone calling himself Jeff Kiss (No Call sign) regarding an item I have for sale. After very few questions we agreed on a price, and he said he sent the money to me via Zelle. As the receiver of money, I am not aware of any risks I am taking with Zelle. When I asked for proof of payment, I received nothing. When he said it was sent and probably went into my spam folder I told him his email address was white listed and that was ,therefore, not possible. I asked him to send it again and also suggested that after spending a lot of money he still hadn't given me a mailing address. Then I asked, "You aren't pulling my chain, are you." I haven't heard from him since. Keep in mind he said he sent the money and had a receipt to prove it!!! jeffkiss45@gmail.com should be stopped automatically by QTH.com classifieds.
