Scammer claims to be K7LJK
Scammer claims to be K7LJK
I received an email in response to my wanted ad. Claimed to be k7ljk. He used the correct name “Larry King”, but his grammar and the low price made me suspicious. I asked for photos and he sent me a photo of the antenna on a garage floor, I searched on google and found that EXACT image from a facebook post a few years ago by someone with a different name. I assume this scammer is not really k7ljk, but his responses were very convincing.

I've got the same guy replying to my WTB add. I think he's ghosting me now that I suggested I would come and pick up the radio instead of shipping it.

Hello Men,
K7LJK is "Joe" in Lander WY, he goes between Lander and someplace in TX. He does have a strong Southern accent but the real "LJK" is a good guy and honest. He used to check into the Wyoming Cowboy Net regularly and I have horse traded with him in years past. I have not talked with him for 3-4 years.
Cheers,
Dave KE7RWV
