On Sunday I posted a want ad on QTH for an RF meter. I got an email from Darin Priest who was able to send photos of the meter. The specific meter I'm looking for is quite rare (MicroHam Smorf) and the photos that were sent I was unable to find on Google, etc so they seemed authentic.
After a few days of the item not being shipped and the seller only ever replying with "will do", I started to investigate and found some good info. The person is not Darin Priest from IN. They're Joan Ann Lapella-Keeler from 17047 Shirla Rae Dr, Spring Hill, FL 34610. That's who I was able to track the payment info to through PayPal. The email they supplied for payment was Jlapella@yahoo.com.
The per originally emailed me from Darinpriestradio@hotmail.com
They were then text messaging me from 406-795-1599 but then called me from 848-202-8626
