My Hallicrafters 100 sx

Post by Gabe Ladd »

First ,let me say I'm a new /old Ham..On the air in late 60's ,then silent til last year ,and I dont know a lot about the rigs yet.My daughter just picked up this clean 100 sx for me last month.Receives great.I have seen several on e-bay for sale ,but the difference in mine is ,it has a beautiful "grill lattice" work on the front panel that I dont see in the other ones for sale.I dont want to sell this one as it was a gift from my daughter,I just want to know the worth of it ,and the significance of the grillwork...Thanks for any light anyone can shed on this receiver..

:D An SX-100 in excellent condition was sold on Ebay on 10 Jan 2005 for $585.00. About twice the original value when new. There are two others for sale that will end in the next couple of days. - Jim
