Help with FT-767GX and 6 meter module?

Help with FT-767GX and 6 meter module?

Hi, on a Yaesu FT-767GX and the FEX-767-6, 6 meter module, in transmit, the FM mode transmits perfectly clear audio and 12 watts out or so. In SSB mode (either) it gets full output but the transmit audio is somewhat garbled and there seems to be a slight underlying hum....It has been tried on 2 different FT-767GX's so it is the module. Any help please?
