HF Counterpoise for 2002 VW beetles

HF Counterpoise for 2002 VW beetles

Hello, perhaps some of the amateur HF Mobile OPs in Germany or any other country may have an answer for me.
I have a 2002 VW beetle and have my IC-706 installed with auto tuner and using Ham stick or Hustler single band whips.
I have allot of difficulty with this car because it is mostly Plastic or fiber glass.
I am looking for suggestion or ideas on what or how to establish a counterpoise for hf operation. Some of the upper bands work ok but when I get into the lower hf areas it is a mess.
Is there a known mobile antenna for hf that does not require a counterpoise.
