HELP NEEDED

HELP....PRIUS AUTOMOBILE OWNERS<<<<
I need help to find 15 amps at 12VDC in this automobile. This car has a VERY small 12VDC battery for starting and I want to run my Dual band
(VHF / UHF) radio. At Dayton 2011 I saw two Prius's with low band equipment in them. These two cars were 2010 or later years...Mine is a
2009. It has been suggested that I don't try to run low band equipment in this car because of the inverter noise that can't be reduced to a low level...Perhaps they've found a way to reduce the inverter noise in the 2010 and later vehicles.
I've considered two 38AH battery in the trunk run in parallel and "plugged" in at night but I'm hoping my fellow hams will have a better solution.
I would appreciate any and all suggestions you might have!!!!!!!!

PRIUS 12V Re: HELP NEEDED

I was reading Japanese CQ HAM magazine a while ago, and one of the article says, prius create 12V from drive battery ( around 200 V ) through DC-DC converter, and its DC converter is about 800 watts. I have heard, if you left Prius in ON position, and use 12V, it constantly change 12V battery from 200 V through DC-DC converter, and once 200 V battery become low voltage , it turn engine ON automatically to charge 200V battery,
