Kenwood, Yaesu and Icom Colored Meter Lamps

I get piles of calls about folks looking for so called "obsolete" colored meter lamps for Kenwood , Icom and Yaesu radios. There is a simple solution...

Purchase some standard Axial 12VDC Lamps..this as an example...

Then select Browse by Category , Bulbs and Lamps , Part Number #12V (50 cents each)

Then get some Glass Paint at an art store OR Amazon ( I exampled Green here)

Soak the bulb in the glass paint for about 2 minutes , let dry...DONE..

You can choose hundred of colors as well...

I made 60 Green Lamps for my inventory in about 5 minutes for under 20 bucks.

Ebay sells them for 6 bucks a POP!!!!
