Qualify - Am just getting back into hobby after long absence,,, (have Swan Astro 150, Atlas 180 and Cubic 103 on shelf)

And in looking at buying newer HF receivers I come across Software Defined Radios, e.g. Flex 1500, 2000 and 3000???
Obviously, you can't really take those models mobile without a driver or stopping, other than that, any more cons?

I really enjoyed mobile hf and could press one of the radios on the shelf into service, but really need something decent
for home qth. I'm probably more of a rag-chewer than contester, so is there help for an old knob turner?
