Beware Edward C. Hoffman scam emails offering a HyGain Explr 14 tri-band beam. Thought this smelled fishy. Email arrived without any previous contact. Also been posted on eham.net about trying to sell a amp using this same name. 73 wa4mit

Another warning for this scammer. I was suspicious after a while, but this confirms it. Almost got me. Dang.

Should have followed my gut from the beginning.

I too was sent an email by someone who I believe is masquerading as K5AH. If you have lost an item and/or cash to this person, please consider filing a complaint with the FBI on their Internet Crime Complaint Center at https://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx. Since this scam is interstate in nature it clearly falls under their jusrisdiction.

Got an email from this guy about my Ad for an amp. Thought it was weird when he emailed me directly. Led him on as if I was interested and asked him for pictures of the HF Packer amp he told me about. Sent me the crappiest thumbnail picture that he found on google images..
