W9DCS lied about radio's internals

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

W9DCS lied about radio's internals

Almost a month ago I purchased a Kenwood TS-440SAT from W9DCS (likely not the real W9DCS) for $365 that was said to include: all filters, internal tuner, and DOTS fixed. I haven't noticed DOTS yet, but I've just looked inside the radio and there is no internal tuner and there are no filters... I have proof of his word all documented on email and I have pictures of the internals. I paid via PayPal, but this being my first PayPal purchase, I selected "Friends & Family" instead of "Goods or Services" so I cannot dispute the payment...

EDIT: Just got a compatible mic to use and it doesn't even output any power...
