I found this ham amp sitting on my back porch when i came home from the store. It is a wrl la1 amp, which uses 4 EL-84 finals. I have found 6cn6 tubes at the tube warehouse or somthing close to that. Anyway they are $50. a pair and this unit needs 2 pair. My question is this amp worth spending good money to repair. Or should i look for something different. thanks for your help Doug K7WYR

I didnt check , but if its really a WRL amp then its 30 plus years old. Could be a lot more than weak tubes in it..
