Hello all,
My club has a Hallicrafters S85 receiver that we will be selling soon.
I have personally tested it, and found it to be in good working order.
Cosmetically, I would say it's in fair condition for its age, considering it's more than 60 yrs. old at this point
Can anyone give me an idea of what it may be worth?
I recently saw someone asking $300 + for one in excellent cosmetic condition, but I am thinking that's a bit of a stretch......
Thanks, and 73,
Terry Martin

Most I have seen in good working order and clean 50-100. GL

OK, thank you very much, as you're the only one who took a swing at this one.
Our club was handling an estate sale, and myself and the widow found it in the very back of a closet
in his ham shack. We believe it may have been his original SW/Ham receiver.

Terry:
Try searching the "Big Three" for S-85's offered for sale.
The asking prices could be a good starting point.
