I THINK NE0X CALL IS BEING USED TO SCAM HAMS WITH IP ADDRESS IS IN CALIFORINA HE SHOWS ON QRZ TO BE IN MISSOURI GOT EMAIL HE WAS GOING TO SEND ME A ADDITIONAL $50 ON CASHIERS CHECK AND HIS AGENT WOULD PICK IT UP. IF I AM WRONG PLEASE LET ME KNOW WILL REMOVE 73

Yes, it is indeed a scammer. I received an email from them in response to an ad I put up. I contacted the real NE0X at his email address ne0xron@gmail.com (found on qrz.com) and he confirmed it isn't him.

He contacted me and tried the “I’ll mail you a check for four times what you want and send the balance back” trick. I can play his game and I am waiting on his check to turn over to the postmaster for mail fraud.
