N9APA Dan

Post by KC0WST »

I recently purchased a Kenwood TS-50 from Dan N9APA. It was listed as being in good working condition, but it failed after two short transmissions. I asked Dan to help cover the cost of repair since it failed almost immediately and he refused. There were several questionable "repairs" found by myself and the repair facility once the covers were taken off. I am out the $325 I paid him for the radio and another $399 to have it repaired. I do not recommend this seller and will not have any future purchases from him.

IF YOU WOULD HAVE TRIED THE RADIO UPON RCPT AND HAD AN ISSUE - I WUD HAVE FIXED IT, REPLACED IT, OR REFUNDED YOUR FUNDS
HOWEVER YOU EMAILED ME 42 DAYS AFTER RCPT OF THE RADIO AND SENT IT OFF FOR REPAIR WITH OUT CONTACTING ME TO ADDRESS THE MATTER
YOUR POST SAYS - FAILED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY - THAT IS A BIT MISLEADING SINCE IT HAD BEEN IN UR POSSESION FOR WELL OVER A MONTH
I AM SORRY ABOUT THE SITUATION
