Not sure if I just avoided a SCAMMER or someone using K2LGO, ROBERT NAPOLI, robco@optonline.net info.

Was all set to buy a very reasonably priced Bird 43 meter with 3 elements until the seller K2LGO, ROBERT NAPOLI
figured shipping costs that were 3X what it actually cost to ship. Another RED flag was he would only take
mailed CASH payments, wanted me to put hundreds of dollars in an envelope and mail it to him in the form of
a Personal Check or Money Order. He said he didn't do Paypal because he was old, something about being first
licensed in the 1950's. When I figured and gave this person whom claimed to be K2LGO, ROBERT NAPOLI, a
cheaper more reasonable shipping alternative, he broke off the deal.

Beware of anybody using this K2LGO, ROBERT NAPOLI robco@optonline.net, as they may be a scammer,
luckily they got $0 dollars from me!

GA All...This in in reply to K9OY allegation that I attempted to over charge him on shipping.....First of all I never asked for cash....the unit in question was a BIRD meter and some slugs....I put them in a US PRIORITY box because at 85 years old it is a convenient way to ship, with boxes readily available...a Bird meter is not a light weight, and I'll admit the charges for a medium flat rate box are indeed not a bargain, but as I said the boxes are easy to get, and PRIORITY mail has treated me well for over 500 mailed ham sales...K9OY wanted me to unwrap the PRIORITY box, and find a correct size box that would work with some economy shipping method he has, and I just wasn't interested in doing that...and since I wouldn't do that, he had to resort to a bad review...If you read on in this site, you will also see I have positive reviews....after being licensed for 65 years, I'm to old.....whooops I mean mature to resort to that childish stuff...If i'm guilty of anything it was trying to make my life a bit easy, and he could have easily said no thanks, but he insists on spreading his venom de K2LGO

Had a few transactions with Bob k2lgo. Great prices, quick shipping and great packing. I would deal with him anytime. Do a search on the feedback forum, check the perspective other part of your deal. QRZ has a list of bad deals. as does the Eham site. 85 years young, bless you.
