Posting only a few "wants" in the classified section in the past two years, I'm amazed at the number of scammers who lurk here. During a "want" post this last week, they came flying out of the woodwork--all posing as legitimate hams. They are fairly easy to spot but are still a pain in the neck to deal with. The common denominator, it seems they find a ham on QRZ that has no email address associated with their QRZ account then pose as that ham. There are other ways of identifying them, but I will not educate the scammers reading this. Hopefully, future technology will be able to screen these miscreants out of the system.
