I have a Collins 75A-2 (apparently, factory modified to be a 75A-3) which is giving me some issues. Does anyone know of an experienced person in the Austin, TX area that I can contact for repair work?

For repair work on a Collins 75A-2/75A-3 in the Austin, TX area, you might want to contact Austin Vintage Radio or check with local amateur radio clubs. They often have members with experience in vintage radio repairs. Additionally, consider looking for repair services on forums like QRZ.com or reaching out to local electronics repair shops that specialize in vintage equipment. :D

Yes, I did of course do an internet search for repair shops in my area. That is the logical first step. I found a few but none called "Austin Vintage Radio". The ones I did find and contacted were not able to able to help. One of them (who I have used before with more modern gear) suggested I post here on QTH.

Local clubs is a good idea and I will check into that. I think one even has a weekly net that I used to check in on. I will also look around on the QRZ forum and post a similar request to the one I posted here. Thanks!
