I am trying to build myself an Antenna Tuner/Preselector.
I have a number of suitable coils and Capacitors.
Since they are not marked with the values, I have to figure out the Inductance of the rather large Air Core coils.
I still remember the formulae for inductance, but I do not have the Reference books anymore.
I am simply trying to find out what the permeability factor of an Air Core is.
Is this one of those cases where air is a factor of 1? for some reason I don't think so.
Can anyone help me out ?
